Premier League: Everton v Fulham match preview - The Independent

Despite admitting defeat in their pursuit of a top-four finish, following a loss to at the Stadium of Light last weekend, David Moyes will be hoping his Everton side can bounce back with victory over Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Champions League remains mathematically in touch for The Toffees, but realists among the Goodison faithful will have lost hope of qualifying for UEFA's biggest club competition. Instead, attentions will be turned to the Europa League berth available to the club who finish fifth in the Premier League table.

Martin Jol's Fulham side sit two points shy of the top-half, after West Ham leapfrogged the Cottagers last time out. If Fulham do achieve their top-10 ambitions, they will have to do it without the services of Steve Sidwell, following his second successive red card against Arsenal last week. Sidwell will begin the first of his four-match ban on Saturday, a suspension that ensures he will not play Premier League football until August.
