Ernests Gulbis is frequently the star of a Tennis Antics Show (we labeled as him the "Roger Federer from quote-giving"), but yesterday, it's his oppoenent, Serb Viktor Troicki, that amused people. He was convinced if you have a Gulbis backhand was out, and he checked the mark that this ball left in a clay. The ball had initially been called with, but the chair umpire overruled the application. Troicki was 100% convinced that going barefoot was in, yet the umpire refused to agree with him. Troicki even brings that camera with him showing us all the level, which is probably just about the most dominant move an athlete has ever made over an umpire. What's more, it included the legendary, almost-grammatically-correct tier: "You can see it within the space! "
It's hard to inform from the crappy video if ever the ball was in (and it kind of looks like he's pointing in the different ball, way inside the line? ), but it's crazy that there's a challenge when there's a indicate. Either the mark will show it's in, or it demonstrates it's out.
Troicki didn't retire consequently lost the match, 6-1, 6-1. But Troicki was the winner within our hearts, causing the umpire to (probably) go on a five-year leave from umpiring to mend his battered psyche. The umpire reportedly dined sixteen McGabagool's With Cheese and flooded his dorm room with tears.
Full Eisen It takes an awfully steady hand. RT @nateriemer: @richeisen just don't allow them catch you taking it out to re-drop. Gets ugly.
