Whether you like him or not, we could all concur that Chris Jericho has paid his dues to the wrestling business. In addition to that, although he's been out and in of the business enterprise in modern times, he is still one of the absolute most over-hyped performers in all of WWE. Why on earth could Vince McMahon and the creative team couple him with Fandango on the largest show of the year? I am talking about, this fit screams "dark match" in my experience. I would have expected something like this on an episode of Sunday Night Heat. Yes, it is "good business" to place over younger ability once you are waking up there in years and are going to be retiring. That's not really Jericho's situation right now. Even though he is waking up there in age, he is still a very good in-ring artist. His skills have eroded ever-so-slightly, but that's it. So far as Fandango can be involved, we've seen alongside nothing from him. As his promos have consisted of exactly the same shtick, he has maybe not shown any variety on the mic. He is executed one go (albeit a pleasant one) on television. He is had zero genuine tv suits. May Jericho and Fandango have a great match? Yes, most likely. Jericho does not have many bad matches, and there is reasons why Fandango has been raised to the lineup. He is not a terrific promotion and he's not a behemoth, so it's surely got to be his wrestling ability. Still, the question lingers such as for instance a stagnant fart: Why would they put an experienced employee who is immensely around with a noob who garners plenty of "X-Pac" heat? This is not William Regal putting over a new ability, this is Y2J we're talking about. Is it feasible that Jericho only wants the money and was ready to face any opposition that Vince wanted him to? I understand Fozzy features a following international, but undoubtedly Jericho isn't bleeding every one of his private money in to that. WrestleMania gives among the largest paydays for wrestlers every year. I am not sure that Mr. Jericho actually wants the money, but another large check never hurts. However, it can perhaps not be a money deal. I do believe it's something altogether different. Unless you are a (cough Rock cough Stone Cold), Vince doesn't have lots of love for entertainers that are wishy-washy about the company. Jericho was a faithful worker for many, many years. But, currently he's been putting more of his time and energy into other paths. Vince doesn't simply take well to that until it is efforts that WWE is backing. Is this a of sorts to Jericho? Is Vince giving a slap to him in the face for going in and out of the WWE? I actually do not choose the "there's no room on the card" garbage. Injecting Jericho into more or less any premise helps it be that definitely better. This just feels like sour grapes and another example of Vince flexing his aging muscles to exhibit everyone he is still the boss.
