The 2013 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will pit a few of the top individuals on the planet against each other on a beautiful route not remote the Pacific Ocean. With climate likely to be sunny and in the mid-70s, fans and owners alike come in for a delicacy on Sunday. But Power is not merely a great name or even a one-hit wonder. He is the best power on the IndyCar scene. The Aussie, who completed fifth in Alabama a couple of weeks ago, has 16 wins since making his debut five years ago and is constantly running towards the most effective. What is more, Power thrives on road courses such as the one this weekend will be raced by him. He's finished whilst the IndyCar Series street aggressive champion in each one of the three previous years. Barring some type of catastrophe, Power will undoubtedly be in the mix late, as he is among the world's best as it pertains to driving the nearly dozen tough turns in Long Beach. Ryan Hunter-Reay Nick Laham/Getty Pictures Still another remarkable 32-year-old, American Ryan Hunter-Reay is coming off a gain at the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama fourteen days before. Plus, he's the defending IndyCar Series champ, whipping out Will Power in 2012. Hunter-Reay won three straight races in 2012 and four whole to create the title to home. But his success also extends to this weekend's road program. Hunter-Reay wonAthis battle back in 2010 and finished sixth here this past year, so he's truly capable of generating a second successive win in Long Beach on Sunday. The Dallas indigenous also posted the fastest time (1:09.42) and best rate (102.05) in Friday's second practice session and, truth be told, looks like the driver to beat heading into the weekend. Dario Franchitti Robert Laberge/Getty Pictures Probably among the most identifiable drivers in the world, three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti will be aiming for his 2nd career gain at the Grand Prix of Long Beach this April. The 39-year-old Scotsman has existed for awhile and has even gained some knowledge racing inventory vehicles on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit. Franchitti won this event last year and finished third at Long Beach 2 yrs ago. Given the fact there's not much Franchitti hasn't seen on a race track, it's safe to express he'll be factor on Sunday. Even though he's struggled to begin the summer season, gaining back-to-back 25th-place finishes at St. Petersburg and Birmingham, he is going to break through at some time.
