On Saturday, as Bolton Wanderers got on Bristol City at Ashton Gate, Jay Spearing was forced to keep the match by having an injury. Right before the halftime split, the on-loan midfielder hobbled off having an apparent base injury and he was easily replaced by Medo Kamara for the rest of the 45+ minutes. Doubts became when a picture later emerged of Spearing wearing a shoe on his foot. Luckily, Dougie Freedman says that Jay will soon be fit for tomorrow's match at Leicester City. The Trotters happen to be the King Power Stadium to face the Foxes in what will be a clash for playoff hopefuls. Dougie confirmed the above mentioned to the Bolton News: "Jay has received a bruised nail for a quantity of weeks and it is maybe not sore at all when he's got a set of flip-flops on but with these nice new shoes they've these days that squash it, he got a and it was sore. "I think he will be fine for Tuesday, it was just very uncomfortable for him. But I thought Medo was great when he moved in." Spearing has been certainly one of Bolton's most consistent performers this season and has proven to be a rock in protection. He has been among the essential items in Wanderers' late-season transformation. As a precaution, Bolton supporters may well see Medo begin in host to Spearing on Tuesday. However, having observed him all year, it is difficult to think that a bruised toe could keep consitently the combative midfielder out of such a vital match.
