- Chelsea have this week held talks over a deal for Andre Schurrle, Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has confirmed to Bild.
- Marco Rojas, who has been linked with Liverpool, has confirmed to AAP that he plans to leave Melbourne Victory and move to Europe this summer.
- Edinson Cavani, who is believed to be a target for the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City, could leave Napoli this summer, according to his mother.
- Jose Mourinho, who continues to be linked with a return to Chelsea, insists he is happy at Real Madrid, telling reporters: "I'm not unhappy at Real Madrid. We need to make the decision that´s best for everyone.
"I may like some things and dislike others but this happens everywhere. There's no such thing as the perfect club or the perfect manager."
- Victor Valdes, who has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool, has been warned by Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu that he won't be sold this summer.
- Sir Alex Ferguson has dismissed speculation linking Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney with a move to Paris Saint-Germain - but says that there is no news on fresh contract talks.
Rooney's existing deal at Old Trafford expires in 2015 and on Friday it was reported that he wants Sir Alex to show his commitment to him by offering an extention.
