"They deserve to be chosen, there's without doubt about this. And I clearly hope one of these wins. "Robin [van Persie] has had an excellent year a' his targets emphasise the impact he has produced at our club. And I believe this is Michael's most readily useful actually period at United. He's been positively magnificent. Both of them deserve to be there and I hope certainly one of them wins it. "It is remarkable Michael [Carrick] has had to hold back until he is 31 to obtain chosen for anything!" joked the manager. "He really deserves it. "Danny [Welbeck] in addition has shown in 2013 to some good performances for his country and us, and I'm delighted for him too."
