I say it everytime I write one of these brilliant liveblogs (which is apparently once. I feel your pain, I do) but the Europa League has been absolutely, unironically, straight-faced 10/10 this year. So many targets. Therefore several competent but gloriously problematic teams. Therefore much fun. The newest installment kicks off in an hour in not-so-sunny Moscow, in front of hardly anybody because it is taking place miles away from where in fact the team is from, and with Chelsea keeping a cushty lead. Then it's off to somewhat sunnier Basle, where Spurs have to pull of some thing of a rescue mission with much of the essential names unavailable. Cocurrently, in the definitely tropical environs of Newcastle upon Tyne, Newcastle will soon be praying for an early on goal and that Benfica are suddenly about half nearly as good. It is not just a classic night in writing. It never is. I nearly assure you that it'll be absolutely incredible and shock us. It usually is. Three cheers for everything! Team news and more to check out, keep tuned in.
