ANDY Wilkinson says there's no chance of the Stoke players feeling sorry for themselves and preparing for a defeat before they have even kicked off at Everton on Saturday.
That run included conceding an injury-time goal in their 2-1 defeat at Newcastle in their last game on the road, but Wilkinson said there is no point dwelling on such disappointments.
He said: "The dressing room doesn't feel like that so we can be positive for Saturday and hopefully go for the result.

"There have been things that haven't gone our way, but that is football and they even themselves out over the season.
He said: "Our aim is to finish in the top ten. It's important we just keep getting good results, go from there and not worry about who is behind us."
Wilkinson reached his 150th league appearance for the club in the Newcastle defeat, but is sweating on his place after being on the bench for the goalless draw at home to West Brom in City's last league game.
However, in the long-term 28-year-old Wilkinson appears to be competing with Ryan Shotton and Geoff Cameron in his more natural right-back position.
He said: "Everyone knows it's not my best position. There was quite a period of time when I needed to fill in for the team and I did that."
